Medal Of Honor: Allied
Assault This game is easily the best World War
2 game currently avaliable. The attention to detail is
amazing, with accurately modelled weapons and luscious
landscapes that make you feel like you're actually
there, in the thick of the action. If you've read the
history, or even just the film Saving Private Ryan, then
you'll get a taste of what the action was really like. A
change of pants maybe required!
Modes of play There
are 4 playing modes in Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault.
Free For All - Every player for himself!
Pure chaos. Imagine being cut off behind enemy lines,
alone and having to fight your way out. This mode
gives you that chance.
Team Match- Allies vs Axis in true warfare
style. Be ready for closely fought battles, and
full-on action where allied and axis forces clash in
realistic locations from the WW2 era.
Round-Based Match - Like Team Match, but
with the addition of a
once-you've-been-shot-you're-out rule! Once you're out
you enter spectator mode where you can view the action
for the rest of the match. Once a team has been wiped
out, the round restarts. This mode will keep you on
your toes.
Objective-Based Match - Both teams will
have an objective (displayed on scoreboard). This game
mode behaves like a Round-Based Match, but with the
twist of giving the teams something else to
concentrate on as well as trying to stay alive!
Patches You'll need to
have bought Medal Of Honor: Allied Assault and installed
